Hear from guest speaker John Healy on his journey from a B.S. in Inductrial and Systems Engineering to studying Patent Law. John graduated cum laude with his B.S. from The Ohio State Universiy. He completed coursework with a concentration in data science, computuer science, and optimization. He also recienved his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Currently, John is a third-year studnet at the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra Unniversity pursuing a concentration in Intellectual Property and Patent Law. New Chips on the Block

In the 2nd half of 2023, we have had a few new chips - such as the POWER10, RISC-V, AMD Zen4 (aka Genoa), NVIDIA Grace Hopper and Apple M3 - appear on the immediate horizon, all of which have excited the world of personal computing, embedded systems, high-performance computing and AI. We will take an architectural look at the hardware of these new processors and share a little insight on what all this means for us computing enthusiasts.
